Annual, thermophilic plant. Its seeds sprout over 15 degrees. It is hydrophilic and photophilic. It needs rich soils and doesn't like shadows. It needs manure and complex fertilizers. 50 grammes per decare are necessary for seedlings. It is sown February-March and harvested July-October.
